Metastatic Pattern of Spread of Hemangiopericytoma
Introduction:
Very rare tumor of pericytes, somewhat controversial pathologically. Common locations for the primary include the thigh, retroperitoneum, and meninges. While they typically have a relatively benign course, late metastases have been described after very long disease-free intervals. Hypoglycemia has been described as a symptom of some tumors.
Prevalence: Very Rare Metastasis Frequency: Rare
