Mets

This is a database of the locations and characteristics of metastases from various cancers, i.e. the metastatic pattern of the cancer. It was presented as a poster at RSNA 2012 (Hammer MM, Bhalla S. "Mets: A Database of Metastatic Patterns of Cancer." RSNA 2012).

Definitions. As a rule of thumb, the frequency keywords should be taken to mean:

• Common - >20% of metastatic cancers go to this location
• Uncommon - 10-20% of metastatic cancers go to this location
• Rare - 5-10% of metastases
• Very Rare - <5% of metastases
